Kirarin Tsukishima, 14 yaşında bir ortaokul öğrencisidir. Oldukça güzeldir ve sınıfın bütün erkekleri ona âşıktır. Ancak Kirari kafasını yemeklerle iyice bozmuştur. Ayrıca Naa-san adında bir kedisi vardır.
Bir gün okul çıkışında Seiiji Hiwatari adında bir çocuğun kaplumbağasını kurtarır. Çocuk, ona SHIPS adında ünlü bir grubun konser biletini verir ve oraya gelmesini ister. Kirari hayallerinin prensini bulduğunu düşünerek konser alanına gider ama karşısına çıkan Hiroto Kazama bu bileti yırtar ve Kirari ile Seiiji’nin ayrı dünyalarda yaşadığını söyler. Kirari, bunu umursamaz ve Seiiji’yi aramaya başlar ancak yanlışlıkla konser kulisine çıkar (daha doğrusu düşer). Burada Seiji ve Hiroto’nun SHIPS grubunun 2 elemanı olduğunu anlar...
